You are now a light side warrior ;)
KIBERone – is the world's largest project in the field of children's development in IT by number of trainees
The project was founded in 2017. Today, it includes more than 470 cities in 36 countries around the world
In 2020, the project was recognized by UNESCO as the best in the world based on the results of the WSIS Prizes 2020 competition in the E-learning category. More than 100 candidates participated in this contest, and KIBERone was selected as the winner
more than 470 cities
36 countries
1500 tutors
more than 80000 students
The KIBERone project started when Olga Apalkova could not find a decent IT education for her 7-year-old child
She didn't like outdated study groups that provided irrelevant knowledge
Since Olga worked for a long time as a strategic development director in large holdings, she managed to create a modern school with the help of a team of friends from Silicon Valley
They suggested the most promising directions for children and helped to write the training programs
Olga recruited only the best specialists in their field to the team. To this day, there is not a single random person in the project, and you are now among them
We are constantly working to improve the project, so we would appreciate it if you would suggest ideas for the development. This is not obligatory, but very welcome
Olga Apalkova

5 tips on how to properly give feedback to parents after class or over the phone
Take into account the situation and remember that for a parent, their child is the very best
Avoid aggressive feedback
Talk about actions, not qualities
Avoid assumptions and use only facts
Don't forget to praise children
(For example, say things like, «That was a challenging problem», «Oh, nice solution!», «I can see your effort», «You did it right this time». However, never evaluate a student, «You're smart, savvy, good at math» and so on)
Tell children that «Mistakes can and should be made – they are a sign of development».
Over time, students stop being afraid of doing the wrong thing and start solving problems on their own, rather than by analogy with the solutions provided
Accept the student's knowledge as it is
«No matter how much you know now, the main thing is to try to learn more»
– is one of those phrases that we often repeat at our classes. Its beauty is that it is suitable for both strong and weaker students
Understanding that it is possible to improve and develop from any level, that nothing is missing or irrevocably lost, loosens up students and gives them a chance to open up
We always have a «Refer a Friend» offer running:
you'll get a cash bonus if your friend passes the 2-month probationary period
